This Privacy Policy explains how TheHoldCo by Mat Simmons LLC ("TheHoldCo," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects personal information when you visit joinholdco.com (the "Site"), join TheHoldCo Mastermind, apply to The HoldCo Boardroom, or otherwise interact with us. By using the Site, you agree to this Policy.

1. Information We Collect

Information you give us. When you fill out a form, apply, book a call, or sign up, we may collect:

  • Name, email address, and phone number
  • Business name, website, and industry
  • Revenue range and your answers to application questions
  • Payment information, which is entered into and processed by Stripe (see Section 4)
  • Anything else you choose to send us, such as emails or messages

Information collected automatically. When you use the Site, we and our service providers may collect usage data such as pages visited, device and browser type, IP address, referring pages, and similar information through cookies, pixels, and analytics tools.

Advertising pixels. We may use advertising tools such as the Meta (Facebook/Instagram) pixel to measure ad performance and show relevant ads. These tools may collect information about your visit and your activity on the Site.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use personal information to:

  • Provide, operate, and improve the Site, TheHoldCo Mastermind, and The HoldCo Boardroom
  • Process sign-ups, free trials, subscriptions, and payments
  • Review Boardroom applications and schedule calls
  • Communicate with you about your membership, application, account, or requests
  • Send marketing communications where permitted (you can opt out anytime)
  • Send SMS messages if you have opted in (see Section 6)
  • Measure and improve our advertising and marketing
  • Protect the Site, our members, and our business, and comply with legal obligations

3. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as follows:

  • Service providers that help us run our business, including HighLevel (LeadConnector), which hosts the Site and processes form, contact, and calendar scheduling data, and Stripe, which processes payments. These providers may only use your information to provide services to us.
  • Advertising and analytics partners, such as Meta, through pixels and similar tools, to measure and improve ads.
  • Legal and safety reasons, when required by law or needed to protect the rights, property, or safety of TheHoldCo, our members, or others.
  • Business transfers, if TheHoldCo is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
  • With your consent or at your direction.

4. Payments

Payments are processed by Stripe. Your full card number is entered directly into Stripe's secure systems. We do not store full card numbers. Stripe's use of your information is governed by its own privacy policy.

5. Cookies and Tracking

Cookies and similar technologies help the Site work, remember your preferences, and measure traffic and ad performance. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though some features may not work properly if you do. You can also manage ad preferences through your Meta account settings and your device's advertising settings.

6. SMS Messaging

Our forms include optional checkboxes to consent to receive SMS messages from TheHoldCo, one for marketing messages and one for non-marketing messages (such as appointment reminders and account updates). If you opt in:

  • Message frequency varies.
  • Message and data rates may apply.
  • Reply STOP to opt out at any time. Reply HELP for help, or email [email protected].
  • Consent to receive SMS is not a condition of any purchase.
  • Mobile information will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties, except service providers that help us deliver messages.

7. Call Recordings

Live calls, including Mastermind strategy calls and Boardroom calls, may be recorded. Recordings may be shared with members or used to improve our programs.

8. Your Privacy Rights

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you by emailing [email protected]. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link in any email, and from SMS by replying STOP.

California residents (CCPA/CPRA). If you live in California, you have the right to know what personal information we collect, use, and disclose; to request deletion or correction of your personal information; to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information; and not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. We do not sell personal information. To exercise your rights, email [email protected]. You may use an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf.

Other U.S. states. Residents of other states with consumer privacy laws (such as Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Utah, Texas, and others) may have similar rights, including the right to access, correct, delete, and obtain a copy of personal information, and to opt out of targeted advertising, sale, or profiling. To make a request, or to appeal a decision on your request, email [email protected].

Do Not Sell. We do not sell your personal information for money. To opt out of targeted advertising, adjust your cookie and ad settings as described in Section 5, or email us.

9. Children

The Site and our programs are intended only for people 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has given us information, email [email protected] and we will delete it.

10. Data Retention

We keep personal information for as long as needed to provide our programs, maintain business and financial records, resolve disputes, enforce our agreements, and meet legal requirements. When we no longer need it, we delete or de-identify it.

11. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information, and we rely on trusted providers such as HighLevel and Stripe. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the "Last updated" date above. Material changes may also be communicated by email or on the Site. Continued use of the Site after an update means you accept the revised Policy.
